For the production of ultra purity water used as mixed bed component
SP117 is a strongly acidic,gelular cation exchanger which is highly regenerated
and specially cleaned. Depending on the high operating capacity for one-ues applications and the high chemical and mechanical stability SP117 is
especially applicable th mixed bed systems together with SP217 for the
decintamination of cooling circuits in power stations and as polishing step
after DI systems in the production of ultrapure water.

The recommended operating conditions refer to the use of the product under
normal operating conditions. It is based on tests in pilot and data obtained
from industrial applications. However, additional data are needed to calculate
the resin volumes required for ion exchange units.
